Two men and a child

When it comes to benefits and well-being, we recognize that everyone has different needs, and you should be able to access solutions that make sense for you and your family.

KPMG’s Total Rewards program reflects our commitment to supporting well-being in a way that is flexible, personal, and meaningful so our people can be at their best and thrive with us.

Recognizing that each of our employees has their own definition of well-being, we provide a Wellness Pool that enables you to allocate dollars to a range of different programs that matter to you.

If you’re adding family members to your coverage, KPMG provides additional wellness pool dollars to extend coverage to them.

In addition to the Wellness Pool, we offer a wide array of programs in support of your well-being across four key areas: physical, mental, financial, and your life@work, including:

Remote work and travel program – This program was created to provide our people with flexibility around where they can work. KPMG employees may work and roam in eligible destinations for a combined total of eight weeks in a fiscal year, which includes both time spent working from another Canadian province and time spent working from an approved foreign country (with a maximum of four weeks abroad).

Work-day flexibility – KPMG provides 50 hours of personal care time for unplanned personal commitments or for mental health/well-being time. We also support a variety of flexible work arrangements to help people meet their personal or family needs.

Rewards and recognition – We are committed to a strong culture of recognition. Our Thanks, Spotlight and Above and Beyond programs enable all KPMG staff to express their appreciation to each other.

Accreditation awards – Financial recognition for the successful completion of milestones in professional education.

Family Building Benefits – KPMG provides parents, regardless of whether they are a natural birth parent or a non-birth parent (e.g., via adoption or surrogacy) a top up of 100% for up to 17 weeks, regardless of years of service with KPMG. Financial assistance for adoption and non-medical surrogacy-related expenses is available to all employees. Employees can enroll in benefit coverage for fertility drugs and treatment for themselves, their dependents and their surrogate.

Support for mental health – We offer a firm-funded annual reimbursement of $3,000 for you and each member of your family for an extensive list of mental health practitioners, as well as 24/7 access to Employee & Family Assistance Program professionals.

Employee and family assistance program - A free, virtual and 100 percent confidential well-being support line for employees and their families. Callers are connected directly to a trained counsellor who can provide or connect you to support in English or French.

Leaves of absence – Time off to help manage personal matters, pursue interests and hobbies, volunteer, take an educational program or travel.

Financial support for volunteering – We recognize our employees’ volunteer efforts in a variety of ways, such as donating to your community organizations of choice for your volunteer hours or our KPMG Social Impact Awards, which recognize your exemplary positive social impact.

Tuition reimbursement – Financial assistance for employees who pursue continuing education through part-time studies.

Disability Benefits – Includes sick days as well as financial support in the event of short and long-term disability.

Emergency travel assistance – We ensure you have coverage for a variety of expenses you may encounter should you experience an emergency abroad.
