Mark Narron is a Senior Director in Fitch Ratings’ Financial Institutions Group where he covers U.S. and Canadian Banks. Since joining Fitch in 2013, he has covered banks, non-banks and supranational institutions across the Americas, and formerly headed up bank ratings in Peru and Venezuela. Prior to joining Fitch, he was a Vice President in Deutsche Bank's Global Social Investment Funds. He received an MSc from the London School of Economics and B.A. from McGill University.

Joey Connor is Vice President of Tax Policy at the American Bankers Association. In his role, Joey works with legislators, U.S. Treasury and Internal Revenue Service officials, and international tax organizations on policies related to bank taxation and information reporting.

Prior to joining the American Bankers Association, Joey worked at Grant Thornton’s National Tax Office and PwC’s Washington National Tax Office, focusing on tax policy and international taxation. He advised clients on potential and pending legislative and regulatory proposals, and engaged with lawmakers and regulators on a multitude of tax issues, including provisions enacted under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and the Inflation Reduction Act.

Joey received his B.A. from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from Washington & Lee University. Joey is a licensed attorney and resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife.
