Argentina: Export duty rate of 0% for certain goods
The benefit will apply until October 31, 2025, or until export sales declarations reach US$7 billion.
Decree No. 682, published in the Official Gazette on September 22, 2025, established the export duty rate at 0% for specified goods (included in annex to the regulation). This measure is effective from September 23, 2025, until October 31, 2025, or until Sworn Export Sales Declarations (Declaraciones Juradas de Venta al Exterior (DJVE)) reach US$7 billion, whichever comes first.
Exporters must settle at least 90% of foreign currency proceeds within three business days after DJVE submission to qualify. Non-compliance will result in the reinstatement of the previous rate and disqualification from future benefits until resolved.
The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic, the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, and the Revenue and Customs Control Agency will provide necessary operational guidelines.
