KPMG Expands Commitment to Advancing Impact Through AI
Second phase of the KPMG AI Impact Initiative includes volunteer services, new assets, tools; and a collaboration with Salesforce and Braven to empower nonprofits through responsible AI innovation
NEW YORK, November 12, 2025 – KPMG LLP today announced the completion of the second phase of the KPMG AI Impact Initiative, with new assets, tools, and collaborations to advance impact through artificial intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies.
"Nonprofits are at a pivotal moment where AI can fundamentally enhance how they serve their communities," said Maureen Davenport, Principal in Charge, Corporate Affairs, KPMG U.S. "By combining funding, expertise, and collaborative partnerships through the KPMG AI Impact Initiative, we're helping organizations use AI to work smarter, reach more people, and create lasting impact in their communities."
Phase two of the KPMG AI Impact Initiative included:
Giving, volunteering, pro bono collaboration:
- The KPMG US Foundation committing $6 million to empowering 12 nonprofits across the US with AI.
- KPMG and Salesforce are working together providing pro bono AI focused support to Braven, a nonprofit helping college students secure strong first jobs. Together, KPMG and Salesforce are helping Braven build and implement an AI agent using Salesforce Agentforce to manage volunteer matching, expand mentorship and drive engagement opportunities.
- KPMG held 10 “AI 101” learning sessions over the past four months to help nonprofits better understand AI’s capabilities and applications, optimize time, and accelerate value. These sessions have included more than 180 nonprofit participants from more than 80 organizations.
- KPMG joined forces with ServiceNow and NAF to mentor 10th grade students from the NAF Academy of Digital Business at Milpitas High School as part of the KPMG @NAFCareerAcads #KnoPro Challenge. This year’s challenge, AI for Startups, had students explore how artificial intelligence can help businesses grow, save time, and better serve their customers. ServiceNow and KPMG volunteered as judges to select the winning teams from a pool of 1,800+ students.
New resources to help nonprofits go further:
- A new KPMG AI Impact Initiative microsite a was created to help nonprofits access resources to advance their impact. The microsite highlights three focus areas:
- Community: Building a collaborative ecosystem of nonprofits, technology partners, clients, and KPMG professionals to come together to collaborate and share insights and lessons.
- Innovation: Leveraging KPMG expertise, capabilities, and giving to help nonprofits solve complex challenges, enhance operational efficiency, and scale their missions.
- Workforce: Preparing the workforce of the future by helping organizations and individuals develop essential AI and generative AI (GenAI) skills.
- The inaugural KPMG AI Impact Newsletter is also now out and accessible via the KPMG Corporate Responsibility LinkedIn.
