Leveraging AI to better enable your Use Tax and Exemption Certificate processing with Vertex

Date/Time- Tues, October 27 | 1:00 PM- 2:00 PM ET

With the evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI), companies are able to introduce automation and data enrichment to better enable Vertex calculations and exemption certificate management. In this session, we will demo two live use cases where AI is embedded into core Vertex processes to enhance efficiencies and yield more accurate tax decisions. We will review a live end-to-end process where AI can read and interpret vendor invoice information to provide enhanced transactional information for use tax calculations. We will also highlight an automated workflow for processing new exemption certificates where AI scans certificate images, performs baseline validation, and indexes the exemption information to post into Vertex O Series.
