Jonathan Rezendes

Jon is a Managing Director in the KPMG Indirect Tax Technology Practice, overseeing tax engine and custom transaction tax solution projects. With over ten years of experience, he advises multinational clients on indirect tax automation and optimization. Jon has a background in indirect tax compliance outsourcing, where he prepared and filed sales/use tax returns for clients. He has served as a team member and project leader on various implementations for SAP, Oracle, and Zuora, specializing in complex domestic tax implementations. Jon’s expertise includes designing tax integrations for homegrown billing platforms and developing automated testing solutions. He has worked across industries such as food and beverage, manufacturing, home fuels, retail, and technology. Prior to tax technology, Jon was involved in sales/use tax compliance outsourcing, handling onboarding and servicing of new compliance accounts, including data validation, transformation, and configuration of Vertex Returns.
