Argentina: Implementation of remote “monitored export” procedure
Allows remote customs monitoring for export-to-consumption operations
The Customs Collection and Control Agency (Agencia de Recaudación y Control Aduanero (ARCA)) issued General Resolution No. 5770, which introduces the “monitored export” procedure, allowing remote customs monitoring for export-to-consumption operations conducted under the in-plant export cargo regime. The procedure is available to authorized exporters with more than two years of registration as importers/exporters with ARCA.
The procedure aims to streamline the customs clearance process, reduce administrative burdens, minimize wait times, and lower logistical costs for exporters, enhancing operational control efficiency.
