Decree No. 1140 (published on December 31, 2024) extends until December 31, 2027, the 3% rate for the statistics fee provided for in article 762 of Law No. 22,415, which taxes definitive import destinations for consumption.
The decree also establishes the maximum amounts of the statistics fee and maintains the exceptions to the payment of the statistical tax for destinations under preferential agreements.
The decree is effective as of January 1, 2025.
