KPMG Elevates Employee Experience and Client Solutions with Firm-Wide Adoption of Gemini Enterprise

NEW YORK, October 9, 2025 - Today, KPMG LLP, the U.S. audit, tax and advisory firm, announced the transformative impact of its firm-wide adoption of Gemini Enterprise from Google Cloud, an advanced agentic platform designed to bring the full power of Google AI to every employee. This platform is already creating new value for clients, elevating the AI experience for all KPMG U.S. employees, and creating greater agility in how the firm runs its business and serves clients. KPMG has invested significantly in AI readiness and adoption across its workforce, and employees were well positioned to adopt the capabilities when they were introduced: nearly 90% of KPMG employees accessed the tool within two weeks of it launching. Nearly 700 no-code AI agents have been created by employees since late-September.
"With Gemini Enterprise, our clients are able to harness the transformative power of AI in practical, measurable ways," said Steve Chase, U.S. Vice Chair and Global Head of AI and Digital Innovation. "We're not just offering technology; we’re bringing first-hand experience, tested use cases, and a clear path to value. Our deep collaboration with Google Cloud ensures clients gain the full value of AI, from tailored agent development to hands-on adoption support at every step."
This rapid integration underscores a significant shift in the professional services industry, moving from AI experimentation to enterprise-scale implementation. The recent KPMG Q3 2025 AI Quarterly Pulse survey revealed that AI agent deployment has nearly quadrupled, with 42% of organizations now having deployed at least some agents, up from 11% two quarters ago. As an early adopter, KPMG is leveraging this technology to enhance productivity, automate complex processes, accelerate client delivery, and make day-to-day navigation of internal information and processes easier for employees.
Translating Internal Success into Client Value
KPMG is leveraging its hands-on experience with Gemini Enterprise to pioneer AI agents for clients, with repeatable use cases in finance, procurement, and infrastructure:
- Finance Transformation: AI agents are being deployed for intelligent forecasting, anomaly detection, and to assist with the financial close process. KPMG is also helping a client to deploy a proof-of-concept for AI-powered invoice processing.
- Strategic Procurement: An AI agent is helping clients prevent contract leakage, automate sourcing, and gain real-time insights into transactions.
- Intelligent Modernization: Using its proprietary "Intelligent Modernization Toolkit," KPMG is accelerating the transformation of legacy IT systems with GenAI-powered code conversion and testing.
KPMG is working with industry-leading technology platform Workiva to accelerate impact through AI agent implementation and process transformation. For Workiva Sustainability implementations, KPMG has created a significant advantage using Gemini Enterprise to support Workiva as they connect data and drive confident reporting for more than 85% of the Fortune 1000. With a focus on transparency, accountability, and trust, KPMG and Workiva are using Gemini Enterprise to streamline and automate project delivery. Based on analysis of over 30 successful implementations, KPMG has developed AI agents to handle routine activities, enabling KPMG to focus on cultivating deeper client relationships while executing AI-driven transformation. This is just the beginning, as KPMG and Workiva continue to explore ways to enhance agent performance and strengthen human-agent hybrid workflows.
"Gemini Enterprise brings the latest advancements in Google AI to every workflow and employee," said Granville Valentine, Managing Director, AI GTM, Google Cloud. "Our expanded partnership with KPMG, exemplified by their own firm-wide adoption of Gemini Enterprise, ensures joint customers have the expertise needed to innovate and enhance everyday work with Google's leading AI technology."
The firm has developed two client-facing AI programs in partnership with Google Cloud.
- The Agent Hero Program, in collaboration with Google Cloud, is a global initiative that provides hands-on experience to clients in building and deploying AI agents. The program has already produced dozens of go-to-market-ready agents, all available within Gemini Enterprise.
- The Google Cloud Experience Zone brings cutting-edge Google AI demos and workshops to KPMG’s Ignition Centers globally, starting with the U.S., Europe and Asia Pacific. The Google Cloud Experience Zone provides clients with hands-on workshops and technology demos to explore the potential of AI agents for their own businesses. Chicago will be the first U.S. city to deploy this experience this fall. The initiative illustrates KPMG’s commitment to fostering innovation and client engagement through tech-driven and hands-on demonstrations.
“The internal deployment of Gemini Enterprise across our own teams is proof of how we turn promise into real, measurable results—driving smarter decisions and fueling innovation at every level," said Kelle Fontenot, Chief Digital Officer, KPMG. “By equipping each of our employees with this technology, we are not only freeing up their time for more strategic work, we are taking our deep expertise and client zero knowledge straight to our clients and their top challenges.”
Driving Efficiency and Innovation from Within
The internal success stories at KPMG illustrate the profound impact of generative AI (GenAI) and agents on daily work:
- Enhanced Workflow Efficiency: Professionals are building no-code agents to streamline business development and client delivery tasks, such as generating configuration documents and responding to proposals (RFPs), saving significant time compared to manual tasks while enhancing quality.
- Rapid Content Generation: The platform has proven its ability to accelerate the creation of high-quality, client-facing materials. For instance, a tax planning agent was configured in just five minutes, producing excellent, ready-to-use content.
- Enhanced Client Engagement: Teams are creating interactive, mobile-friendly client materials, including podcast-style audio briefings from complex data, enabling more dynamic and accessible client interactions.
