The U.S. Navy’s Bureau of Medicine & Surgery Financial and Business Operations Management Support (BUMED FBOMS) contract requires that a substantial amount of the work performed related to financial and business operations management support, and all of the task areas and labor categories relate directly or indirectly to audit readiness and audit support services. Tasks include program management and operation support services, financial management operations, business process improvement, change management, and information management support activities provide best business practices that support and enhance overall mission capabilities. Contract support services provide an integrated approach across financial, logistics, facilities and information technology core business functions throughout BUMED as they prepare for financial statement audit.
