We will be joined by Jason Schuman (Managing Director and Head of Tax, Global Credit and Wealth) at Carlyle, who will share their perspectives.

The session will be hosted by KPMG Real Estate Tax leader, Ryan Taylor, and will feature our Credit-focused and Washington National Tax professionals.

Mr. Schuman has over 18 years of experience as an asset management tax professional. Prior to joining Carlyle, he spent 12 years as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, first in the tax department then in Asset & Wealth Management, where he advised the business on tax risk, planning and structuring for a wide variety of funds, transactions and investment products. Prior to this, he spent 6 years with Fried Frank as an Associate in their tax department in New York.

Mr. Schuman received his JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his BA from Johns Hopkins University.
