The First 100 Days: The New Administration's Impact on Energy

Webcast

Webcast overview

KPMG is pleased to host a webcast that will explore the current legislative and tax policy landscape as a part of our continuing coverage of the new administration’s impacts on the energy sector and adjacent industries. During this webcast, John Gimigliano, Principal, KPMG Washington National Tax, will join Angie Gildea, U.S. Sector Leader for Energy, to discuss the following key topics:

  • A timeline of where we are in the US legislative process within the new administration and what comes next for energy companies
  • How the budget reconciliation process will impact the shape and scope of a tax bill later this year
  • Whether any tax law changes will be permanent or temporary (and if so, for how long?)
  • The impact of tariffs on the economy: how tariffs are affecting trade and supply chains
