Angela Gildea
U.S. Sector Leader
Angie Gildea serves as the KPMG U.S. Sector Leader for Energy, Natural Resources and Chemicals. In this role, she is responsible for the creation of leading industry services, thought leadership and go-to-market strategies across KPMG Audit, Tax, and Advisory functions. She also serves as a Global Lead Client Partner for a Fortune 25 client and is a member of the KPMG Global Energy leadership team.
A member of the National Petroleum Council, Angie is a widely recognized leader in the energy sector and frequently appears in news outlets including Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, MarketWatch, Reuters, Hart Energy, the Houston Business Journal, and others. Angie was named to Oil & Gas Journal’s Top 25 Most Influential Women in Energy and received the Houston Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business award. In 2023, The Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce inducted Angie into the Greater Houston Women’s Hall of Fame.
Ms. Gildea is active in the local community. Angie currently serves on the Board of Trustees for River Oaks Baptist School and on the State of Texas Executive Board for Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star. She has previously served Board of Directors for Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS), the Trees of Hope benefitting Houston’s homeless, and also as a member of the Junior League of Houston.
Ms. Gildea holds a B.S. in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. She resides in Houston, TX with her family.
