Ukraine: New income tax treaty with Germany signed

New treaty will replace the July 3, 1995 treaty after ratification

The Federal Ministry of Finance of Germany and the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on May 19, 2026, signed a new income tax treaty to eliminate double taxation and prevent tax evasion and avoidance.

The new treaty, which will replace the July 3, 1995, treaty after ratification, modernizes the bilateral framework in line with current international standards and broadens exchange of information and administrative cooperation.
