The House of Representatives of the parliament in March 2026 adopted a draft law amending the law on excise duties on petroleum products.

The amendment aims to address the effect of fuel price volatility on the economy and citizens, and the House of Representatives requested that the House of Peoples consider the proposal under an urgent legislative procedure.
