Namibia: Tax proposals in 2026/2027 budget

Namibia's 2026/2027 budget includes measures related to corporate tax, VAT, and excise duties.

The Finance Minister of Namibia on February 26, 2026, presented the 2026/2027 budget statement, outlining proposed tax policy and tax administration reforms relating to:

  • “Order With Me” initiative
  • Fiscal reforms and policy priorities over the medium-term expenditure framework (MTEF)
  • “Sin” taxes (excise duty)
