Taiwan-Singapore income tax treaty enters into force

New treaty replaces 1981 treaty between the two countries.

The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, on February 13, 2026, announced the entry into force of the new income tax treaty with Taiwan, signed on December 31, 2025.

The new treaty replaces the 1981 treaty between the two countries and updates the bilateral framework for the taxation of cross‑border income.
