Turkey's government released its medium-term program (MTP) for 2026–2028, introducing tax policy reforms that aim to enhance fairness, efficiency, and compliance. Key measures include reducing reliance on indirect taxes, broadening the direct tax base, combating the informal economy using artificial intelligence (AI) and analytics, and aligning property taxation with market values.
