The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) today released a notice extending 178 current product exclusions under the Section 301 investigation of China’s acts, policies, and practices related to technology transfer, intellectual property, and innovation. The exclusions, which were set to expire on November 29, 2025, have been extended through November 9, 2026.

According to a related USTR release, the extension of these exclusions is due to public comments and the direction of the president following the announcement of the trade and economic deal with China (read TradeNewsFlash).

The extension applies to goods under specific Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) headings and notes, effective November 30, 2025.
