Saint Kitts and Nevis: Tourism development levy to increase to 3%

The funds will support tourism promotion and infrastructure enhancements.

The Nevis Island Administration in late May 2025 announced an increase in the tourism development levy to 3% (from 2%), effective June 1, 2025.

The levy applies to gross sales by hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, and Airbnb hosts, excluding value added tax (VAT), with payments due by the 15th of each month.

Funds will support tourism promotion and infrastructure enhancements.
