Saint Lucia: Repeal of VAT on imported sports equipment and property tax on sports business offices; 50% reduction in airport taxes

The government on April 25, 2025, announced the repeal of value added tax (VAT) on imported sporting equipment and property taxes on sporting administrative offices in Saint Lucia.

In addition, the government implemented a 50% reduction in airport service charges for regional air travel effective June 1, 2025, lowering the charge from ECD 68 to ECD 34 for six months.
