The European Commission (EC) today published a consolidated list of "Classification Regulations" with the transposition of the Combined Nomenclature (CN) codes according to the 2025 Combined Nomenclature. The list includes all Classification Regulations valid as of January 1, 2025, and reflects the CN codes in force at the time of their adoption.

The Harmonised System Nomenclature undergoes revisions every five years, and the CN is amended annually, which may result in some previously adopted Classification Regulations referencing outdated CN codes. The updated list provides the current CN codes under which goods covered by valid Classification Regulations should be classified, simplifying the process for economic operators and ensuring uniform classification across member states.
