U.S. BIS updates “boycott requester list”
The update adds 30 parties and removes 18 entities.
The Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) published an updated list of foreign companies that have made boycott-related requests, including requests to comply with the Arab League boycott of Israel.
According to the BIS release (April 3, 2025), the update adds 30 parties and removes 18 entities that have ceased making such requests in transactions with U.S. persons. The updated list informs companies and individuals of potential boycott-related requests they might encounter in business transactions.
The antiboycott requester list, introduced in March 2024, aids U.S. entities in meeting reporting requirements and deters foreign entities from imposing boycott-related conditions.
