U.S. BIS establishes Section 232 steel and aluminum tariff inclusions process
Process for including additional derivative aluminum and steel articles within the scope of ad valorem duties
The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) of the U.S. Department of Commerce today issued an interim final rule establishing a process for including additional derivative aluminum and steel articles within the scope of ad valorem duties imposed under Proclamations 10895 and 10896, which imposed specific tariffs on imports of aluminum and steel articles, including certain derivatives, under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962.
