The Ministry of Economy and Finance issued a press release (French) postponing the reduction in the value added tax (VAT) exemption threshold for small businesses to €25,000 until June 1, 2025, originally set for March 1, 2025, under the Finance Law for 2025.

The delay follows a public consultation ending February 28, 2025, with previous VAT limits remaining in effect. A ruling clarifies transitional arrangements for 2025.
