The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on April 22, 2025, issued Notification No. S.R.O. 709(I)/2025, which provides timelines for the integration of all corporate and non-corporate registered persons with the FBR's computerized system as part of the ongoing efforts to digitize and document the economy.

All registered persons under the Sales Tax Act, 1990 are required to integrate their systems through registered license holders or Pakistan Revenue Automation (Pvt) Ltd (PRAL) by the following deadlines:

  • Corporate registered persons—May 1, 2025
  • Non-corporate registered persons—June 1, 2025

S.R.O. 709(I)/2025 has removed all previous categories of “integrated persons” and integration is now mandatory for all registered persons.
