Proposed extension of VAT exemptions on essential goods

The 2025 national budget was released on March 10, 2025. The budget introduces no new taxes but does propose extending value added tax (VAT) exemptions on essential goods and continuing reduced petrol tax rates. Additionally, the budget proposals would remove duties on renewable energy vehicles.
