The government on December 30, 2024, increased the value added tax (VAT) refund limit for transactions subject to the reduced VAT rate to TRY 130,700 in 2025 (from TR 90,800 in 2024), in accordance with VAT General Communiqué No. 53.
The new provisions became effective January 1, 2025.
