UAE: Public consultation on e-invoicing data dictionary
Comments are due February 27, 2025
The Ministry of Finance (MoF) launched a public consultation on the data dictionary for electronic invoicing (e-invoicing). Comments are due February 27, 2025.
The consultation document contains the details of the data dictionary that will apply to various transactions and is structured on the basis of use cases. The document also provides a visual summary of mandatory fields and comparisons to current invoice requirements. For a standard tax invoice, the number of mandatory fields under the e-invoicing scheme will be 50—15 more than the current list of mandatory requirements under UAE value added tax (VAT) legislation.
