Niger: Tax measures in 2025 budget

Profit tax rate, capital gains tax on mining titles, VAT on online sales transactions

The Ministry of Finance on December 31, 2024, announced that the Council of Ministers adopted the draft ordinance for the 2025 finance law, which includes measures such as increasing the profit tax rate for nonresidents, introducing a capital gains tax on mining titles, and imposing value added tax (VAT) on online sales transactions.

The ordinance must be finalized and approved before becoming effective.
