Israel: Updated regulations on submission process for employee equity incentive plans

Online reporting required for all equity plans starting in 2025

The Israel Tax Authority (ITA) updated regulations on the submission process for employee equity incentive plans:

  • From January 1, 2025, all equity plans must be filed online through the ITA's "Employee Stock Plan Submission System."
  • Applications must be made 30 days before the first allocation and include specific documentation.
  • Material changes to approved plans will require resubmission.
  • Online reporting will also be enforced for all equity plans starting in 2025.
