Bosnia and Herzegovina: Proposed VAT changes

Proposed changes include new submission deadlines for VAT refunds on internationally financed projects

The Governing Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority on December 2, 2024, proposed the following value added tax (VAT) changes:

  • Increasing minimum invoice amount eligible for VAT refunds to nonresidents from €50.99 to €101.97
  • New submission deadlines for VAT refunds on internationally financed projects and diplomatic missions
  • Electronic services definitions
  • Input VAT deduction for new VAT registrants

The changes will be published on the portal of e-consultation.
