The Inclusive Framework (IF) on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) on January 15, 2025, released five documents providing guidance on the application of the global anti-base erosion (GloBE) rules: (1) revised GloBE information return (GIR), (2) GIR multilateral competent authority agreement (GIR MCAA), (3) GIR XML Schema and User Guide, (4) central record of legislation with transitional qualified status, and (5) administrative guidance on Article 9.1 of the GloBE model rules.
