U.S. DHS adds 29 China-based companies to UFLPA Entity List due to forced labor
U.S. CBP will presume that goods from these 29 entities are banned due to involvement in forced labor activities
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), on behalf of the Forced Labor Enforcement Task Force (FLETF), has announced the addition of 29 Chinese companies to the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) Entity List, increasing the total to 107 entities.
According to today’s DHS release, this action is part of efforts to eliminate forced labor from U.S. supply chains and address human rights abuses against Uyghurs and other minority groups in Xinjiang.
Effective November 25, 2024, U.S. Customs and Border Protection will presume that goods from these 29 entities are banned due to their involvement in forced labor activities linked to Xinjiang.
