The European Commission has published the most recent version of the Combined Nomenclature (CN) that will be applicable as from January 1, 2025.

As noted in an EC release, the CN provides the basis for the declaration of goods: (1) at importation or exportation, or (2) when subject to intra-EU trade statistics. The CN—updated every year—determines which rate of customs duty applies and how the goods are treated for statistical purposes.

Read the Combined Nomenclature as provided in the EU Official Journal 2024/2522 L series (dated 31 October 2024).
