Serbia: Electronic recording of input VAT not required for September 2024 tax period

The electronic recording of input VAT will begin for tax periods beginning on October 1, 2024.

A notice was published on the official electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) webpage of the Ministry of Finance on October 9, 2024, regarding the obligation for users of the system of electronic invoicing (SEF) to electronically record input value added tax (VAT).

According to the notice, SEF users will not be required to electronically record input VAT for the tax period of September 2024 due to technical reasons. As a result, the electronic recording of input VAT in SEF will begin for tax periods beginning on October 1, 2024.
