Tom is an audit partner and the National Industry Leader for KPMG in Canada’s Building, Construction & Real Estate practice, providing financial statement audit and advisory services to all sectors of the Real Estate industry. During his more than 30 years at KPMG, Tom has developed extensive experience addressing the requirements of growth-oriented public market participants, IPO candidates, investment funds, private developers, and owners and operators of real estate. He spent three years working in Europe, for KPMG in Germany and is knowledgeable on how to manage international engagements. Tom is very active in his community. He is one of KPMG’s representative on the Real Property Association of Canada Financial Best Practices Committee and a member of the Board of the Oakville Hospital Foundation and Chair of their Finance, Risk, Audit and Investment Committee.

James Loewen is a Partner and the National Sector Lead for Asset Management. He specializes in Financial Statement Auditing, US GAAP, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Securities Offerings. James has been with KPMG for over 20 years, all of which have been spent within the financial services practice and specifically focused on asset management. His clients include a number of asset managers and all type of investment funds, including private equity and hedge funds both domestic and off-shore. James is the former Chair of the IFIC Accounting Advisory Working Group and is a member of a CICA task force examining financial reporting by Canadian investment funds.

Lino Junior has 25 years of experience in customer service in the financial area. She participated in KPMG's international exchange program at the San Francisco, California, United States office, where she moved in 2003 and remained there for two years.
