KPMG Employees Come Together for 4th Annual Community Impact Day

NEW YORK, August 5, 2025 – Partners and employees of KPMG LLP, the U.S. Audit, Tax, and Advisory firm, will come together today for the firm’s fourth annual Community Impact Day. The KPMG Community Impact Day is a nationwide day of service that provides employees of all levels flexible and meaningful ways to come together both in-person and virtually to serve our communities.
“Our Community Impact Day creates a powerful opportunity for everyone at our firm to live our Values – Together. For Better,” said Maureen Davenport, Principal in charge, Corporate Affairs KPMG U.S. “When we volunteer together with impactful nonprofits, we are reminded of the strength we find in community and the opportunity we all have to help students, teachers, families, and neighborhoods thrive.”
- Seventy-nine KPMG offices across the U.S. are participating in the annual event.
- Employees can choose from more than 600 volunteer activities working alongside approximately 400 local nonprofit organizations.
- Volunteer activities include working with local food kitchens, park cleanups, helping teachers set up their classrooms for the school year, and more.
KPMG employees will also host AI learning sessions with nonprofits in Atlanta, Dallas, LA, Seattle, and Charlotte as part of the firm’s ongoing AI Impact Initiative, which helps nonprofits responsibly integrate AI tools and equips future workforces with critical technology skills. These learning sessions are meant to help nonprofits better understand AI’s capabilities and applications, optimize time, and accelerate value.
“AI will unlock a new era of innovation and growth, but we will only reach our full potential if opportunity reaches every person and community,” added Davenport. “Our AI Impact Initiative helps nonprofits responsibly use AI to enhance their impact.”
This annual effort is part of KPMG’s broader corporate responsibility focus to create opportunity for all. Last year, KPMG employees volunteered more than 131,000 hours, helping build a culture of volunteerism.
