Sara is a senior manager in the KPMG’s Accounting Methods and Credit Services practice. She has nearly 8 years of overall experience serving both private and publicly traded entities. Sara specializes in tax incentives reviews, such as research tax credit reviews, meals and entertainment reviews, and other federal incentives, as well as tax accounting method reviews.
Some of Sara’s specific experiences have included reviewing and helping clients adopt correct accounting methods, leading R&D engagements and evaluating M&E expenditures to enhance deductions.
Sara’s industry and project experience spans many industries including Engineering and Procurement, Financial services, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Retail, and Software
Sara holds a BBA degree in Accounting and a BS Degree in Economics, both from the Southern Methodist University as well as an MSA degree with a specialization in Tax also from the Southern Methodist University. Sara is a Certified Public Accountant, Texas.
