Mike is the US lead partner for KPMG’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) services with over 25 years of experience. In addition to KPMG US, Mike served as the UK lead ERM partner from 2014 through 2016 and also previously worked for KPMG’s Canadian and Australian member firms. . Additionally, Mike is KPMG’s global lead for Energy Risk.
Mike has global experience across various industries including oil & gas, energy & natural resources, industrial markets, pharma, retail, technology, financial and professional services. His experience includes evaluating and designing governance frameworks & risk management programs, assessing board effectiveness, designing risk and compliance reporting frameworks, conducting best practice/benchmarking reviews, and helping companies implement ERM; Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC); and Integrated Assurance programs.
In addition to client service responsibilities, Mike has served as the lead Advisory partner supporting the implementation of enterprise risk management within KPMG LLP in the U.S. firm as well as supporting Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) for KPMG International.
Mike is a frequent panelist and speaker on GRC, ERM and related subjects for organizations such as KPMG’s Audit Committee Institute.
