Daniel Vance

Daniel is a senior manager in KPMG’s Department of Professional Practice (DPP) with over 11 years of experience providing financial statement audits. Since joining DPP in July 2018, his responsibilities have included conducting internal quality reviews, monitoring the activities of audit standard setters on multiple proposed auditing standards, assisting with the firm’s formal response on those proposed standards, and assisting with developing the firm’s interpretive guidance on various ASC topics.
Previously, Daniel was a senior manager in KPMG’s Dallas business unit where he provided audit services to various public and private clients in accordance with PCAOB and AICPA requirements and U.S. GAAP. His experiences ranged from managing and supervising the execution of audit engagements, including public companies, private companies, and not-for-profit entities, and addressing industry-specific matters. He has experience in the alternative investment funds, registered investment advisors, broker-dealers, real estate and insurance industries.
