Mark Twerdok
Office Managing Partner, Advisory
Mark is the Managing Partner of the KPMG Pittsburgh Office and serves as Account Executive on most of our prestigious client relationships in the Pittsburgh Office. Mark is a Certified Public Accountant and was promoted to Partner in 2000 with more than 35 years of experience at KPMG. He also serves as the KPMG National Advisory Banking Industry Leader.
Mark serves clients in the areas of risk management, operation enhancement, internal controls assessment, internal audit support, program management, policy assessment and business process analysis. He serves as the lead KPMG partner for The PNC Financial Services Group relationship and has let the KPMG national banking lending and credit solutions practice for the last 10 years.
Mark participates on the United Way Finance and Audit Committee. He serves on the Board of Directors and is the Treasurer for Wesley Family Services. In addition to serving on the board and finance committee of the Allegheny Conference, he services on the executive committee and is the Treasurer for the Pittsburgh Chapters of the Pennsylvania Economics League. He serves as a Board Member of the Heinz History Center. Mark leads the Pittsburgh office relationship with Duquesne University and was a member of the Business School Board of Directors, as well as mentored students. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Duquesne Club, including as Treasurer and membership on the Admissions, Finance and Retirement Plan Committees. Mark graduated from Clarion University and is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Certified Public Accountants.
