French Taylor

French Taylor is a Senior Lead Tax Partner in KPMG LLP (KPMG)’s Business Tax Services practice. He currently serves as the National Service Line Leader for Business Tax Services. He previously served as West Region Leader for KPMG’s Tax Revenue Recognition, Section 199, and Tax Accounting Services Practice. During his tenure with KPMG, French spent 3 years in KPMG’s Washington National Tax (WNT) practice where he worked in the Accounting Methods practice. In addition, he works extensively in the ASC740 practice as well as leading the outsourcing tax practice. 

French is responsible for a broad range of clients including public and private corporations. Some of French’s specific experiences have included:

• Helping clients adopt the most advantageous accounting methods available to defer revenue and accelerate deductions.
• Handling IRS and state tax examinations of his clients including numerous settlements with the Appeals group of the IRS and state taxing authority.
• Facilitating projects that involve multiple other services including international tax, state and local tax and transfer pricing tax.
• Managing large tax outsourcing compliance projects.
