Chie Tanaka

Chie is a Tax Partner in KPMG’s Chicago Business Tax practice.  She has more than 20 years of experience in providing tax compliance and consulting services for public and privately held clients.   

Chie has helped Japanese companies operating in the United States to achieve tax efficiency and minimize tax risks. She has extensive experience in assisting clients in a wide range of U.S. international tax issues, including transfer-pricing, customs, valuations, mergers & acquisitions, indirect taxes, income tax treaty, cross-border international tax matters. Chie’s current and past clients include large and mid-size U.S. private companies owned by Japan multi-nationals.
