Brian Stewart

Brian is a senior manager in the Accounting Standards Group of KPMG’s Audit Quality and Professional Practice Group (AQPPG) in New York. Prior to joining the AQPPG, Brian was based in Philadelphia where he has focused much of his career providing professional audit services to large multi-national organizations within the energy, chemicals, manufacturing and distribution, and private equity industries. He has extensive experience with SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions, carve-out financial statements, and debt and equity transactions.
Brian also has substantial background on multi-component integrated audits, including coordination and collaboration with internal audit and risk and compliance functions, shared service centers, global IT platforms, and broad-based internal control experiences.
