Nick is a managing director in KPMG Risk Assurance service line, focusing on enterprise governance, risk management, and compliance. He specializes in supporting firms in building strategic GRC initiatives and identifying efficient and effective future state processes, which usually involve governance, risk, and compliance convergence opportunities.
Nick has led transformational projects to assess, design, and implement integrated risk and compliance management programs, as well as to consolidate and automate core risk tasks via GRC technology. He has been instrumental in the development of an enterprise risk management framework that covers the critical components of a successful, integrated risk management program. Additionally, he has investigated the utility and usefulness of automating specific risk operations within a GRC software package to assist organizations in managing compliance and regulatory risks.
Nick earned a B.S. in Finance from Pennsylvania State University, with minors in Spanish and International Business. In addition, he is a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) accredited by the Global Association of Risk Professionals, and a Mortgage Bankers Association Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP).
