Federica Porcari
Manager, International Tax, Washington National Tax
Federica Porcari specializes in tax reporting and transparency. She has spent the last several years focused on emerging tax regimes, particularly those arising from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) project, and she is a member of the KPMG BEPS resource center as well as the firm's U.S. Country-by-County (CbC) Reporting center of excellence.
Federica is experienced in providing advice to multinationals struggling to implement new rules—particularly BEPS Action 1 (Tax Challenges arising from Digitalisation), Action 12 (Mandatory Disclosure Regime), Action 13 (CbC Reporting), and Action 15 (Multilateral Instrument). Building on this experience, Federica took a secondment with the KPMG EU Tax Centre in 2021 and expanded her tax knowledge portfolio to include EU tax policy and regulatory developments.
Federica joined the KPMG Washington National Tax practice in 2017, transferring from KPMG in Italy where she had worked since 2014. Prior to joining KPMG, she worked in another Big Four accounting firm’s Italian International Corporate Tax practice.
Federica is a licensed certified public accountant in Italy and a U.S. IRS Enrolled Agent. She holds a MSc degree, magna cum laude, in business administration and a BA degree in economics and business administration from the Universita degli Studi Roma Tre.
