Rudy is a Tax Partner in the KPMG Business Tax Services practice, specializing in Asset Management. With over 28 years of tax experience, including 6 years in an in-house tax role, Rudy brings a wealth of expertise to his role.
He joined KPMG in February 2023 as part of the Tax Managed Service alliance between Castlelake, LP and KPMG. Prior to Castlelake, he served clients in the Asset Management space at another Big 4.
As the Global Tax Director for Castlelake, LP, Rudy oversaw all tax-related activities, including structuring, governance, and compliance, for the funds and management company. He used a combination of in-house resources, technology, and outsourcing to manage the tax needs of the funds and management company efficiently and effectively.
