Nicholas Mead
Partner
Nick is the Head of KPMG’s authorisations practice and regularly advises firms on the authorisation process as well as the wider considerations associated with setting up a new bank. He is currently leading the advice to 3 firms going through the authorisation process. He has historically advised on the likes of Starling, Allica, Tandem amongst many others.
Nick also leads much of our regulatory M&A support including advising on change in control applications to the Regulators.
Finally, Nick is also one of KPMG’s leading specialists in prudential regulation and has worked with a range of new entrants and established incumbents on their ICAAPs, ILAAPs and recovery plans.
