Derek R. McGuire is a Deal Advisory & Strategy (DAS) partner based in New York. He has been with KPMG his entire career, starting in the audit practice for five years before joining DAS in 2005. Derek is currently the financial due diligence consumer and retail industry leader and was previously the financial due diligence private equity channel leader.
Derek is a trusted advisor to private equity and corporate clients and provides advice on domestic and cross-border acquisitions and divestitures. He has led over 400 M&A transactions across multiple industries.
Derek is a CPA and holds a bachelor's degree from HEC Montreal and an MBA from Columbia University.
